💊 What is The Glycemic Index?
The Glycemic Index (GI) is a ranking system that measures how quickly carbohydrate-containing foods raise blood sugar levels after consumption. Low-GI foods (55 or less) are digested and absorbed more slowly, leading to a gradual rise in blood sugar levels.
